Jamaican managers do not need another AI conversation. They need a working AI toolkit they can open on Monday morning.
That is the premise behind AI for Managers & Business Leaders, the next installment in JTDA's Skills Lab Series, happening Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM via Zoom. This hands on virtual lab is built for executives and professionals who want practical AI skills, proven frameworks, and real world applications they can use immediately, not theory they will forget by the following week.
The session will be led by Dr. Arthur Phidd, Chief Information Officer at Reeds Jewelers, lecturer at the University of the West Indies, and JTDA's VP of Innovation and Education. Dr. Phidd brings both the executive vantage point and the classroom discipline needed to make generative AI concrete for business leaders navigating real operational decisions.
Space is limited to 20 participants to keep the lab genuinely hands on, and registration closes July 22, 2026.
Every participant receives:
A digital workbook and exercises
A prompt library and resource guide
A short quiz
AI tool recommendations
A certificate of participation
Investment:
JTDA Members: US$126 (JMD $19,872.44, 10% member discount)
Non-Members: US$140 (JMD $22,080.49)
Groups of 5 or more: 5% discount for both members and non-members
Payment can be made by direct bank transfer, and invoices are available on request.
This lab reflects JTDA's broader mandate to Equip Jamaica's tech and business community with skills that hold up in a fast moving digital economy, not just awareness of what is possible.
Registration closes July 22, 2026. Spaces are limited to 20 participants.
